Do you go to NQC each year? And if so, how many times have you attended?!

Some are of the opinion that the SG music genre is fading away. What do you feel needs to be done to make SG music more relevant as the older fan base is shrinking due to attrition?

I think that SG needs to stay true to it’s roots. Sure, all music is going to evolve somewhat, but as long as SG will stick to 3 or 4 part harmony, then they will be able to keep the fans they have and attract new ones along the way.

I’ve only attended one NQC which was in 2007.  Hard to believe it has now been 4 years since I attended, but God has kept my family booked while the NQC was going on.  Maybe I’ll make it back someday, but if not, that’s OK. I’d rather be singing somewhere else than a spectator at NQC anyway.

Who is going to be the next FOTW.????

I don’t see the point with so few postings forum wide. Why don’t we wait till after summer….

Brian, I will never forget how you rallied the prayer warriors for me last year when I was diagnosed with cancer.  That is something that I will always cherish and it was through y’all’s prayers that God sent healing and now I am cancer free, praise the Lord.  I am so grateful to call you all my friends!!!

Just looking back a little, I never saw you post this Adam. Again, it was my honor! Just praising the Lord we still have you with us!!!

Your were part of the forums quartet at that NQC if I remember correctly. Who had those photos?

He was part of the first one, where I was singing lead, he was singing baritone, and the incredible Tyler H. was on bass. (I forget the tenor.)

He wasn’t part of the second one, where I was signing tenor because we didn’t have a real one there, Nate Stainbrook was singing lead, David Bruce Murray was singing baritone, and Aaron Swain was singing bass.
