The Gospel Tide - Pure Silver

imageProducer - John Darin Rowsey

Harvest Gospel Studio

The Gospel Tide has a true “country” sound with close harmony. The CD opens with a song written by and featuring group member Ellen Keaton, “I Have The Victory”. I really like the country track on “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”. “I’m Gonna Leave Here Shoutin’ ” features Larry Keaton and I think it is clear that Larry is the country part of this group. “Don’t Lift The Anchor” features Cathy Collins to start and uses some nice two part harmony giving a little variety to their sound. “There’s Joy In the Morning” is a nice ballad also written by group member Ellen Keaton. Other songs include Dottie Rambo’s “New Shoes”, “That Same Spirit”, “The First Million Years”, “Long, Long Journey” and “The Lights Of That City”.

It would have been helpful to have had the song writers names mentioned somewhere on the CD.

I have known and loved this group for the past two years. I have to agree with Mandy. The First Million Years gives me chills every time I hear it.

What a blessing to hear our song, "The First Million Years" by The Gospel Tide. A beautiful cut! Love it!
Ashland, Ky was one of the first towns that we ministered in back in 1975. My husband, Colbert, has been extremely ill, but is doing better..Praise the Lord!! Keep up the wonderful harmony.

    Sincerely,
    Colbert & Joyce Croft
