Award Winning Bluegrass Musicians and Songwriters Form The Farm Hands Quartet

(Nashville, TN) Two award winning bluegrass artists have joined forces to form an exciting new bluegrass gospel group.

Daryl Mosley, the songwriter behind former song of the year “(Ask the Blind Man) He Saw It All”, Ronnie Booth’s #1 song, “I Would” and others has teamed with bluegrass music’s 6 time Dobro Player of the Year, Tim Graves to form a new bluegrass gospel group, The Farm Hands Quartet.

“It’s really coming full circle for me,” says Mosley. “I toured for 10 years with the bluegrass gospel group New Tradition before spending the past decade at the Grand Ole Opry with the Osborne Brothers.” “Although I enjoyed being a part of the Opry,” he adds, “it’s great to be back in a quartet and playing bluegrass gospel music. It’s good to be home”

Tim Graves, who is the nephew of bluegrass Hall of Famer ‘Uncle Josh’ Graves, has been a professional bluegrass musician for almost 3 decades and is equally excited. “Daryl and I have been friends for years. We’ve talked for a long time about doing something like this. For whatever reason, now is when the Lord opened the doors for the creation of the Farm Hands Quartet.”

Making up the rest of the quartet are two talented young musicians from Alabama. Devon Avery plays the banjo and sings baritone and Jody Elmore is the guitar playing tenor singer.

“We are on pace to sing about 150 dates next year.” Mosley says, “When you add in recording time and other responsibilities that accompany a busy group, we’ve pretty much jumped in head first. But God is blessing and we are loving every minute of it”
